Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an international construction business, looking for a finance analyst to join their growing finance team. This great opportunity will support the company’s data analysis, payroll processes, and tax administration across Ireland and international jurisdictions.

Working within the Finance team, the role contributes to accurate analysis and the administration of payroll, corporation tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other relevant tax compliance requirements for an international construction business.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across reporting processes.

• Support payroll-related financial processes, including reviewing payroll data and payroll costs against financial records.
• Understand of payroll deductions, statutory contributions, and employer payroll costs.

• Assist with the preparation, collation, and review of information required for tax filings and statutory reporting.
• Support the administration of relevant taxes, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll taxes, and other applicable local taxes.
• Maintain tax records, supporting documentation, and compliance schedules.

• Review transactions and financial information for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate coding.

Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a finance, financial analysis, finance operations, or accounting support role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Experience analysing financial data and preparing meaningful reports.
• A practical understanding of payroll processes, payroll costs, and related reconciliations.
• Exposure to tax administration, statutory reporting, VAT, withholding tax, or payroll tax processes.
• Experience within the construction sector would be beneficial.
